stu jones!

I post great things I find on the internet, and type some thoughts. Once I wrote well, and I think I can again, if I write more often.

I have a MySpace here. If you don't have a MySpace page, I don't recommend it.

How to Spot the End of a Career

My wife and I recently saw a preview for Mad Money, starring Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah.  Not having seen the movie, we can pretty much tell it looks like a turd.  And, checking some reviews, suspicions confirmed: it sucks.

My first comment was something to the effect of how Diane Keaton’s star has fallen a long way since Annie Hall or the Godfather.  From Woody Allen and Marlon Brando to Latifah!

But after a little imdb research, I discovered that it’s not the first time she’s done this!

Steve Martin.  From the classic Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and The Jerk…to his nadir

And I wonder how Dustin Hoffman felt when he realized that only yesterday he’d been involved in films like The Graduate, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Tootsie, and now he’s prostituting himself

Timothy Hutton was in Ordinary People, for which he won an Oscar.  He was also recently in Last Holiday.

Remember how good Friday was?  So there was no need for Ice Cube to get involved with QL in this.

On deck to join this list: Michael Douglas, Meg Ryan, Robin Williams (although I’d say he hit bottom long ago).
