Another school shooting
I have vowed to myself not to read about or watch anything related to this latest school shooting.
It seems to me that a big part of the attraction for potential mass murder/suicidists is the fact that if you take ten or twelve people out with you when you go, you get national television coverage.
I won’t cop out and blame someone else (in this case, news outlets); instead, I’ll do my small part and avoid the morbid fascination with such events.
Henceforth I do not expect to play even the smallest part in this sad drama should it happen again.
